Synopsis

Psychology continually reviews and analyzes pertinent issues within social and community contexts to propose solutions to specific social problems. To address topics that were not covered in Volumes I and II, the SOPHIE research group initiated the publication of Emerging Debates in Psychology Vol. 3. This third volume highlights the importance of psychological issues associated with the pandemic, such as the perception of contagion risk, mental health impacts, and social media addiction within the Colombian context. In this framework, emotional management among psychology students who will soon be supporting individuals seeking emotional assistance also takes on significance, as well as the current understanding of personality, social psychology, and community perspectives.
