Synopsis

This document presents the multiplicity of knowledge that converge in a university. In this case, from the Center for Innovation and Productivity (CIP) Dosquebradas (Risaralda) of the Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia (UNAD), it is an honor to disclose the potential of the human talent interested and energized from actions and strategies of Science, Technology, Research, and Innovation (STI+I) offered in the context of educational contexts and contemporary societies.

That said, this variety of knowledge in UNAD, has been configured from the nomination from the connections and relationships of ways of knowing, under the organizational strategy of 'schools', which are assumed as scenarios of reflection, thought, analysis, explanation, intervention and interpretation of the multiplicity of knowledge, realities and truths that intersect from the material, basic, to the abstract and metaphysical, for the case of UNAD, they are all expressed as School, with the following singularities of intersection: Health Sciences; Educational Sciences; Legal and Political Sciences; Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities; Basic Sciences, Technology and Engineering; Agricultural, Livestock and Environmental Sciences; Administrative, Accounting, Economic and Business Sciences.

With the above, it can be seen in principle, connection between the disciplinary and multidisciplinary in the framework of the conditions installed from the institution and with the willingness, cooperation, dedication, ability and creativity of the CIP Dosquebradas team that from the local and within the social, cultural, academic and technological deploys scenarios to execute processes connected with Science and the creation of spaces for the Social Appropriation of Knowledge (ASC, in Spanish) to later think about it in learning scenarios such as the macro, meso and micro curriculum of each School.

The book is composed of three chapters, which have the purpose of disseminating processes related to STI+I. In Chapter I, from the school, there is a document by the engineer Manuel Francisco Polanco and the biologist Laura Victoria Peñaranda González, who contribute elements on the dissemination of research itself with: From earth to sky: conception of agricultural sciences from the UNAD in the Eje Cafetero of Colombia, which provides general information on research to which the school has contributed, especially in the primary sector. It is followed by the contribution of the environmental administrator Kelly Andrea Aguirre and the bioengineer Sara Daniela Sarmiento, who describe and show Territory’s integral development through research. Agriculture and biotechnology research center: a bet for the country.

From Chapter 2 five bets are presented from the Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, first there is what they argue from elements of the praxis of psychologists Iván David Aristizábal and Angela Ivethe Mayorga Ortegón with: Psychosocial action as a tool to strengthen practical processes: a perspective at the university students of the psychology program at the CIP in Dosquebradas, Risaralda. It is followed in the framework of formative research, Commitment to training, research and field work in the education and human development seedbed, described by the graduate Ruth Esther Martínez. On the other hand, in a third section by the communicators Mauricio Vera and Ana Mónica, they present from the communication research process, Incidence of communication research: study case - Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia -UNAD.

From philosophical reflections, there is the text: Development of creativity through philosophizing in secondary school, by graduate Diego Eduardo Morales and to end this chapter there is the contribution of Martha Liliana Palomino, Psychologist, with the subchapter The research seedbed as an integral training strategy in the UNAD CIP Dosquebradas Psychology program.

It ends with chapter 3, in which there are five titles. The first one is by the electrical engineer, Johan Sebastián Bustos, Research results: implementation of a brain-computer interface for people with cerebral palsy. The second is from experiences related to seedbeds: Initiative and results of participation in the Latin American innovation rally by the electrical engineer Jorge Enrique Arboleda, the graduate Ruth Esther Martínez, the physical engineer Angélica María Guapacha and Hugo Ocampo Cárdenas, Financial Administrator.

The third title is from the systems engineer, Wcdaly Cortes Algeciras, and the computer system administrator, Jheimer Sepúlveda from classroom research, presents: Promotion of the equity component of UNAD through the generation-e agreement through the preparation of first-time, university students for professional training in the digital-tools course. In the fourth title, the graduate in biology and chemistry, Martha Viviana Zuluaga presents the work on connections and cooperation conditions from: Research collaboration network at CIP Dosquebradas. Finally, the systems engineer, Yulian Sepúlveda Casadiego, presents: From organizational cybernetics to value cybernetics, innovation over the intangibles of the organization and work.
