Synopsis

The book Knowledge Management Maturity Model for Business Organizations presents a research study aimed at understanding how organizations develop, manage, and leverage knowledge as a strategic resource to improve competitiveness. The work examines the conceptual foundations of organizational knowledge, organizational learning, and intellectual capital, which are considered essential elements for generating competitive advantages in companies.

Throughout its chapters, the book reviews the main theoretical approaches and authors who have contributed to the development of the field of knowledge management, as well as the processes related to the generation, storage, transfer, and application of knowledge within organizations. It also addresses topics such as neuromarketing, neuroscience applied to business management, internal control, and ambidextrous organizations, all of which influence the creation and use of organizational knowledge.

As its main contribution, the book proposes a model for measuring the maturity level of knowledge management in business organizations. This model enables organizations to evaluate the development of their knowledge management processes and to guide strategies aimed at strengthening innovation, decision-making, and organizational competitiveness in complex business environments.
