La persona privada de su libertad y su dimensión simbólica en Santa Martha Acatitla

Ángel Alonso Salas,

Synopsis

The experience of confinement confronts any human being with himself and with others, either because the person is sick, because a heath contingency has been declared, or because one ins in prison. Three different scenarios (illness, pandemic or prison) where the person wonders about the reasons that have led them to this situation; the things and situations that will inevitably have to be modified, and the meaning that this confinement will have in the short, medium or long term. In this
paper, we will reflect on the way in which experience of prison makes it possible to take a position on existence and the way in which awareness has been given through BOECIO philosophy workshops in Santa Martha Acatitla.
