Synopsis

The adoption of new technologies creates an opportunity for those business initiatives that wish to venture into the field of innovation to become more productive, competitive, and durable over time. Therefore, this prospective strategic study for innovative enterprises in the agricultural sector of the municipality of El Tambo, Cauca, by the year 2024 seeks to provide tools that strengthen the production of goods or services with added or differentiating value, as well as the competencies of producers in the region. This research is developed through a mixed study with an exploratory descriptive approach. As a technique for collecting information, a structured Likert-type survey is used, applying a simple probabilistic sample of correlational scope made up of eight experts and forty representatives of agricultural associations in the municipality, who were surveyed with ten and nine closed questions respectively, where each questionnaire consists of four response items per question. The Delphi method is used in three rounds in order to understand the state of the organizations and obtain the highest level of accuracy in the results that allowed the establishment of change variables for the application of the MIC MAC method. From this process, the key variables for scenario design were extracted through the Peter Schwartz Axis. Subsequently, the Importance and Governance Matrix (IGO) was used to determine the strategic actions that should be proposed for the target scenario, which mainly focuses on strengthening training programs, corporate social responsibility, the creation of knowledge through projects, associativity, and generational renewal with a social focus.
