Characterization of the entrepreneur: UNAD community ZCBC

Yeison Muñoz Londoño,

Synopsis

In this chapter, the results obtained through an exploratory research study are presented in order to characterize the entrepreneurial population of the Zona Centro Bogotá Cundinamarca of the National Open and Distance University – UNAD. This was carried out through the application of an instrument designed based on the theoretical framework of the entrepreneurial pipeline. Through several statistical analyses, the main trends of the study population are identified, and some of the findings are contrasted with data found for populations such as Bogotá and Cundinamarca. The analysis makes it possible to identify relevant factors such as fear of failure and a high level of informality throughout the initiatives of this UNAD community.
