Synopsis

This research is aimed at identifying variations in the level of organizational learning in companies in the city of Pasto generated by the use of smartphones, taking into account that organizational learning constitutes one of the dimensions and a transversal factor of incidence and potential strengthening of the dimensions of the work climate, and that it allows addressing organizational intelligence (OI) actions due to its complexity, which ranges from data and information management to the generation of impactful knowledge. Companies are not only generating organizational learning through their programmed training and personnel development processes, but are also compelled toward the continuous learning demanded by current changes and the need to adapt to conditions through the intensive use of information and communication technologies (ICT). It is necessary to establish the level of learning generated in companies through the use of smartphones and their various applications and functions, the conditions that generate such learning, the factors that motivate it, the technological developments that foster it, and the constantly changing conditions that drive such learning. These dynamics command the establishment of OI processes to scale new levels both in the interpretation of their information-based realities and in the optimal use of new information, up to the capacity to generate learning and new knowledge useful to companies.
