ORIGINALITY

The UNAD Editorial Seal only publishes unpublished works generated as research results books, training books, popularization books and/or popularization compilations and creation books.

PEER REVIEW PROCESS

The books published by the UNAD Editorial Seal are subjected to evaluation by two academic peers using the double-blind system, and formats are used for this purpose. If one of the peers recommends the publication of the book and another recommends not to publish it, a third academic peer is assigned and that evaluation is taken as definitive.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST AND CONFIDENTIALITY STATEMENT

In the obligations of, the peer reviewers must carry out the academic exercise impartially, objectively, confidentially and, if they consider it, freely potential conflicts of interest, whether academic, work and/or personal, in relation to the article to be evaluated.

ETHICS IN PUBLICATION AND GOOD PRACTICES

The UNAD Editorial Seal works to develop the editorial process of various publications with academic rigor, seeking recognition for its high standards of intellectual production, thus achieving visibility of the academic and scientific production of teachers and researchers, and making it available to the national and international community, all of the above guaranteeing the protection of copyright.

PLAGIARISM

The UNAD Editorial Seal team will verify the originality of the books for cases of improper citation or possible plagiarism, for which it has the Turnitin service (www.turnitin.com), as a tool that allows the evaluated manuscript to be contrasted against current and archived web pages, student papers and publications from leading international scientific publishers. When a manuscript presents minor citation problems, it will be returned to the authors to make the appropriate changes, in any other case, the manuscript will be rejected.

Open access policy

Creative Commons License Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives (BY-NC-ND) License: This license is the most restrictive of the six main licenses, it only allows others to download the works and share them with others, as long as their authorship is recognized, but they cannot be changed in any way or used commercially https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/deed.es.

The UNAD Editorial Seal does not charge for the processing and/or publication of books or book chapters.

Article processing charges

The UNAD Editorial Seal does not have charges or fees for the processing of books (Article Processing Charge [APC]) sent by the authors. There is also no charge for the submission of books or book chapters.
