Experiencias, vivencias y abordajes desde la perspectiva de los estilos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes (Colombia)

Education in Colombia faces profound challenges related to technology, innovative pedagogical methods, and the changes inherent in the 21st century. The education system has implemented strategies aimed at promoting research, entrepreneurship, and the incorporation of technological tools, seeking a comprehensive education that fosters students' academic and social development. However, it has not yet achieved a substantial change in national academic performance.

This research focuses on the learning styles of eighth-grade students at the Alfonso López Pumarejo Educational Institution. The research is based on the learning styles theories of Kolb (1974) and Honey and Mumford (1986). The methodology adopts a mixed approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the learning styles of eighth-grade students.
