Jorge Andrés Jiménez Muñoz, ; Stefania Betancourt Delgado, ; Marly Johana Moreno Parra, ; Wilmer Pérez Clavijo,

Synopsis

The glossary aims to account for a conceptual reconstruction, the result of research work funded by UNAD and undertaken by teachers and students of the Sports Management program, in which a bibliographic search of articles in various databases was sought, seeking to construct definitions specific for a list of concepts found in the syllabus of the courses belonging to the curriculum. In the first instance, this production attempts to build a theoretical base that strengthens the still recent epistemological reflections on Sports Management, which has been opening a path of relationship in the vast field of Sports Sciences. From a perspective anchored in the Social and Human Sciences, as a fundamental characteristic of said program, the aim was to provide epistemic support to a series of concepts that constitute the core of knowledge for the management of social and community sport. Secondly, this glossary aims to become a search source for students, as well as for teachers and researchers interested in basing their learning exercises and knowledge construction. For the elaboration, analytical recordings of scientific articles were carried out, mostly produced in the Latin American continent, and that could contribute from various analytical approaches to the intended epistemic foundation. In total, 47 concepts were constructed, arranged in this work in a language accessible to any actor in the academic field.
