La identidad como Proyecto : asomos conceptuales para pensar la identidad como escenario para la cohesión social

The following proposal for reflection arises from the direct experience that the researcher perceives in the dialogue with the victims of the armed conflict, one of the thousands of communities affected in Colombia and on the Latin American continent. In these encounters, feelings of hopelessness and the fracture of community unity are revealed. They are people who, despite adversity and pain, must move forward in the midst of mistrust and ruptures. How to put back together what is broken? The answer lies in communication, not that mediated by technologies, but that which occurs in direct interaction, which gives life, power, meaning and meaning to being together. Based on the ideas of thinkers such as Taylor, Castells and Touraine, this proposal is based on the need to recognize oneself as authentic subjects, whose process of building consciousness is essential to then project oneself into new identities. These identities face scenarios full of risks and tensions, but also possibilities. In the end, as the text states, the encounter with an 'other', represented by integral heritage, becomes the point of convergence to redefine the way in which communities are linked to each other and present themselves to the global world.
