The research aims to "Study rural finance within the coffee-growing associative dynamics of the municipality of Cajibío." To achieve this, it is framed within a mixed methodology, utilizing instruments such as interviews, surveys, and participatory workshops, which allowed for a deeper understanding of the rural dynamics surrounding finance and its practices. All of this stems from a methodological framework of triangulation, understood as a tool that integrates mathematical elements (quantitative analysis) and reflections on social reality.

This methodology led to the formulation of "economic links," which go beyond the traditional economic circuits of production, commercialization, and consumption, by connecting all the links that explain and study the different aspects of the organizations, farms, and families. Integrated into these are the links of redistribution, circulation, coordination, transversal processes, reproduction, waste management, and community synergies. In this sense, the "circulation" link was addressed, which focuses on gathering financial information to determine individual access to credit.

The above allowed us to conclude that the solidarity sector plays a significant role both economically and socially; it fuels job creation, improves quality of life, and integrates people permanently or temporarily, emerging in response to the marginalities of the capitalist system. In this same direction, solidarity finance arises in response to low levels of financial resources in traditional systems, as well as factors such as low debt capacity, required collateral, and fear. Thus, a reflection on rural finance in the coffee-growing associative dynamics of the municipality of Cajibío is presented—research that reveals savings groups and revolving funds as social strategies and processes that enable teamwork and self-financing in the municipality.
