Proposed Instrument for Assessing Organizational Knowledge Management

José Ever Castellanos Narciso, ; Juan Camilo Vega Guerrero,

Synopsis

The purpose of the presentation is to present a proposal for an instrument to evaluate the management of organizational knowledge. The document starts from the identification of the theoretical components and elements to be evaluated in the instrument through the analysis of contents in research related to knowledge management in order to identify and extract the variables that need to be worked on in the research instrument such as: culture organization, organizational structure, executive leadership, environment, maturity levels, knowledge and technology management processes. Similarly, the analysis of results shows the variables that will be worked on in the research instrument, as well as a table where the subvariables to be worked on are collected, as well as the main contributions of the experts in methodology. The discussion of the results makes it possible to establish that there are seven key areas that must be evaluated in the structure of the instrument: strategy, technology, leadership, organizational structure, culture and environment. Finally, the conclusions of the exercise are presented.
