Synopsis

Global environments, technological innovations, and trade in supply chains are shaping a new way for countries and companies to compete. It is not simply a matter of individual efforts but rather the capacity to create, strengthen, and ensure the sustainability of global value networks, which is possible through integration processes in supply chains. It is about creating value jointly, fostering domestic and global integrations that promote the growth of local economies and ensure adequate insertion and permanence in international markets in a sustainable way.

The digital era, through Industry 4.0, poses new challenges from the competitiveness point of view regarding a new way of doing business. The incorporation of technology leads to automation processes that, in turn, affect how the demands of the new digital consumer and markets are met. Therefore, it is necessary to develop leaders capable of  developing the industrial capacities necessary for creating digital ecosystems.
