Characterize the social trajectories and employment status of graduates

Martha Natalia Poveda Najar,

Synopsis

It is an imperative for higher education institutions (HEIs), since their planning and creation, to contemplate the continuity (social mobility) of their graduates after graduation, both in academic life (other studies and application of knowledge), as well as in the insertion into the labor market. Of course, these aspects are based on the construction of a solid, feasible life project that necessarily generates improvement in the quality of life and environment of the student. In this sense, aspects such as the appropriation of knowledge, the performance of professional and soft skills in the labor field, the levels of satisfaction with the training received and its real applicability, become key aspects that HEIs have to strengthen, so that the educational trajectory of a graduate necessarily generates social mobility, economic growth and quality of life.
