Historical Sociologists of Colombia : A Critical Study

Carlos Uribe Celis,

Synopsis

First and foremost, this study is concerned with deceased Colombian sociologists. In no case have I intended to conceptualize the work of active colleagues who may still produce, correct, or adjust some work of discussion, reflection, public performance, or any identifiable genre, as it seems to me risky and unnecessary. What has been done by anyone is out in the open (when it is), and interested parties can get to the product when they want and how they want. In addition, it happens that with our contemporaries, there may circulate inappropriate traffic of influences, payment of favors, positioning, or any other (including animosity) that vitiate the effort.

Keywords: Colombian sociologists, political action, social, political, Colombian history
