Learning from Infancy

Julieth Catherin Sanabria Rincón,

Synopsis

This book tells the story of Antonia, an 8-year-old girl, who is exposed on her birthday to situations that can lead to child sexual abuse. It is a simple prevention guide that explains to children and adults the intimate and public parts of the body. Its purpose is to teach self-care to children about possible situations of abuse in which they may be victims, learning to react appropriately by informing a person they trust and the authorities about the situation. In most cases, sexual aggressors are part of the victim's close circle, such as family members, friends, neighbors, or teachers, and can occur in any context.
