Synopsis

In the last decade, there has been an emphasis on pedagogical practices in the classroom as a critical element for school success. In this sense, the pedagogical and didactic theory demands a practical component in which the different approaches to the educational process can be tested, discussed, complemented, and, if necessary, reformulated. Consequently, faculties of education have been making essential contributions, creating scenarios and devices that gradually get teachers in training closer to the real field of professional practice.

The primary assumption states that; the more contact undergraduates have with the classroom environment, the more they will develop skills and competencies required for teaching. Thus, by the end of their university education, faculties of education can ensure their graduates’ adaptability to the needs and expectations of the school in its current state of development.
