Pablo Andrés Herrera Montoya,

Synopsis

This project is focused on the ideal kitchen design prototype for social interest housing; it is based on the user needs, and focused on remedying the lack of space, organization and distribution of the areas of these kitchens. Those missing conditions are supplied with cunning and improvised solutions, that does not provide technical conditions and ergonomic for the optimization of space, which is usually reduced in social interest housing. Initially, the conception and definition of social interest or priority housing is proposed, it is exposing its infrastructure, space and distributive or locative aspects that define them, in order to show the real needs of users or owners. Then, the applied design criteria, the basic norms concerning the design of kitchens, the layout of spaces and the use of the software are expose, in order to propose an applicable and very practical design to be adopted within the basic package that a house of interest Social provides end users. Finally, the standardization process is described, and techniques are proposed for the proposed design to be successful in its production and installation. A process standardization will be carried out to guarantee the feasibility, cost reduction and quality of the kitchen design proposed for social interest or priority housing.
