Synopsis

The environment that surrounds us especially, smells and colors, generate sensations and reactions in human beings. This stimulus can have either a positive or negative effect on people’s brain behavior. Since creativity is an emotional state, it depends on any external stimulus that can also influence the creative skills. Objective: to establish the influence of a chromatic strategy defined by a range of warm
colors applied through the sensory technology tool of Virtual Reality Cardboard, in the development of the creative skills of Physiotherapy students of the Autonomous University of Manizales. Methodology: Quantitative and quasi-experimental approach, using the information collection tool. Test of Creativity founded on P. Torrance (1972) and J. Guilford (1973). Results: The significant difference between
the means of the students mid and not mediated with the chromatic strategy was evidenced. Conclusions: The mediation of the chromatic strategy applied with the virtual reality tool Cardboard influences the development of the creative abilities of the students that were part of the experimental process. The research concludes satisfactory and contributing results for education processes that enhance creativity and for future research that wants, from the findings of this, to continue addressing
the colorist influence on the creative abilities of human beings.
