Change factors, in the form of trends, ruptures and future bearers, to project the Municipality of Pitalito as a territory of peace

The Municipality of Pitalito as a region must seek its competitive advantage, developing its own brand of region that allows it to differentiate itself from others; for this it must identify what are the factors of change, which, in the form of trends, ruptures and future-carrying events, allow it to project strategically and competitively as a territory of peace.

Competitiveness for a country or region is to create comparative advantages that allow it to sustain and improve its position vis-à-vis the socio-economic environment to which it belongs and emphasize them when creating and executing business initiatives.

The project is developed through a descriptive study that allows researchers to explore, identify and define the most important change factors in the evolution of the entities, in this territorial case, and in this way identify the change factors which, under the form of trends, ruptures and future events, affect the development of the Municipality of Pitalito.

Likewise, the project considers the application of the deductive method since, from general situations, it is possible to explain particular situations of the Municipality to project it as a territory of peace.
