Synopsis

This article analyzes the application and implementation of the Humanistic Social Business Innovation Strategy, which establishes a public-private inter-institutional alliance, promoting the inclusion and participation of people with disabilities, based on technical labor competencies and the wholeness of the individual. Through reasonable adjustments and flexibility for business inclusion, the effective participation of people with disabilities is made possible — variables that are fundamental for permanence and efficiency within the organization. In this way, business transformations are generated that foster the attitude and culture of the organization as a driver of organizational development.

The problem is evident in the business sector because inclusion and participation processes are not well known, without taking into account the benefits from corporate social responsibility. It is supported by current situations applied to a reality where the strengthening and dissemination of processes, programs, entities, etc., is needed to establish the relevance, articulation, and development of inter-institutional alliances.

The research is conducted using a case study and analysis methodology, gathering information from various sources, such as: company information, apprentices and employees with disabilities, participant observation, and a bibliographic review. Three variables are analyzed: the business motivation to generate inclusive processes; the resources available to the company to carry them out optimally; and thus achieve effective participation supported by the certification of technical labor competencies.
